A deposit equal to one half of the total charge is necessary to secure a reservation and must be received within 10 days of making the reservation. Payment can be either personal check or cashier's check; we do not accept credit cards. There is a two-night minimum on weekends; some holidays have a three-night minimum.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposits are refundable in full unless cancellation, for any reason, is made within 10 days of expected arrival, in which case the deposit is forfeited. Only if another reservation can be found to fill the vacancy will the deposit be refunded.

LOCATION
Windrift is located six miles North of the Village of Mendocino, and four miles South of Fort Bragg--an ideal location to experience the advantage of both places. Mendocino is noted for it's art community, galleries and boutiques; Fort Bragg for its historic Skunk Train and active fishing harbor. Both have award winning restaurants, from candlelight chic to comfortably funky. Hiking, abalone diving, canoeing, bicycling, beach walking, whale watching, daydreaming--it's all here!
